Back in 1956 when Karin’s Florist first opened, the trends were a bit different than they are now. A wedding or event may have entertained with songs played from a jukebox or record player, held a strict dress code to ensure modesty, or boasted a celebratory cake with grand bridges and fountains with flowing water.
However, as much as the styles and technologies have changed throughout the years, some things have remained the same. The vision that started this company by Bill Dukas and his father-in-law, George Raptis, included dreams where trust and expertise, paired with originality and beauty, encompassed each event they designed.
Over a half-century later, this vision is carried on by Maris Angolia, daughter of Bill and granddaughter of George, and continues to flourish.
The legacy of that initial vision continues to live on in each Karin’s Florist design.
“I can remember my own wedding day. After helping plan so many other weddings, it was so special to plan my own. I literally cried at the sight of the church, it was so beautiful.
That day, I experienced how important it was for me to have the utmost confidence and trust in my vendors. That feeling is exactly what we strive to provide our clients.”
